3. Coverage

Component

Coverage Period

Frame & Carriage Rails (Aluminium/Wood), Gear Bar, Foot Bar - 5 Years

Springs, Straps & Ropes - 1 Year

Upholstery (Microfibre leather) - 4 Months

All Other Components & Accessories - 1 Year

Definition of Coverage:
Coverage means Milaron will, at its discretion, repair or replace any covered component that fails due to defects in materials or workmanship under normal, intended use during the stated period.
Coverage does not include damage from wear-and-tear, misuse, environmental factors, or any exclusion listed in Section 7.

Normal wear and tear means the expected gradual deterioration of components from regular, intended use that does not affect the safe function of the equipment.
Manufacturing defects mean faults in materials or workmanship present at the time of manufacture that cause premature failure under normal use.

4. No-Questions Replacement Period

For the first month from the Purchase Date, Milaron will replace any defective component without requiring diagnostics or inspection.

5. Warranty Process

  1. Email support@milaron.com.au with the Purchase Date, delivery address, description of the issue, and supporting photos/videos.

  2. Claims must be lodged within the active warranty term. Claims submitted on the final day of coverage will be honoured if fully documented.

  3. Before any component is shipped, the customer must provide photos or videos for assessment. Milaron may request additional evidence to confirm a defect before authorising return shipping.

6. Who and What is Covered

  • Only the Original Purchaser may claim under this warranty.

  • The Product must remain in the possession of the Original Purchaser for the duration of the warranty period.

  • A Warranty Claim may only be made within the applicable coverage period for the relevant component.

  • If Milaron is liable for a Warranty Claim, the customer’s sole and exclusive remedy is, at Milaron’s discretion and to the extent permitted by law, the repair or replacement of the defective Product or component with the same or comparable part.

  • Any repaired or replacement component is warranted for the remainder of the original coverage period or 30 days from replacement, whichever is longer, or any longer period required by law.

7. Exclusions & Limitations

This warranty does not cover:

Non-Milaron Products

  • Any product other than Milaron reformers.

  • Any product Milaron reasonably believes to be stolen, counterfeit, purchased from an unauthorised reseller, or purchased or used outside Australia.

Improper Assembly, Maintenance, or Relocation

  • Damage or failure due to negligent assembly, maintenance, installation, relocation, or repair, other than work by an authorised Milaron technician.

  • Basic maintenance includes tightening all frame bolts monthly, cleaning rails and carriage wheels weekly, and inspecting springs, straps, and ropes for wear. Failure to perform these steps may void coverage for related failures.

Third-Party Parts or Modifications

  • Use with non-Milaron parts, accessories, or modifications not authorised by Milaron, or any use contrary to the Milaron Owner’s Guide.

Wear, Damage, or Environmental Conditions

  • Normal wear and tear, cosmetic changes (scuffs, scratches, fading) that do not affect performance.

  • Accidents, abuse, neglect, corrosion, discolouration, theft, vandalism, fire, flood, wind, lightning, freezing, extreme humidity, unusual atmospheric conditions, collision, foreign objects, or acts of nature.

  • Electrical issues, including wiring, power surges, reduction, fluctuation, or failure from any cause.

Indirect or Consequential Losses

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to: economic loss, lost revenue or profit, loss of use or enjoyment, substitute equipment costs, gym membership fees, work time lost, diagnostic visits, maintenance visits, or transportation.

Unauthorised Moves or Repairs

  • Any move or repair attempted by anyone other than an authorised Milaron technician is at the customer’s own risk.

  • Milaron is not liable for any injury, property damage, or product damage caused during such attempts.

Replacement Parts Policy

  • Where permitted by law, replacement units, parts, and electronic components reconditioned to as-new condition may be supplied as warranty replacements and will fulfil Milaron’s warranty obligation.

8. Shipping & Labour for Warranty Claims

  • The customer is responsible for all inbound and outbound shipping costs for warranty claims.

  • For warranty claims, Milaron will provide packaging requirements and approved carriers. The customer may use their own carrier at their cost and risk. Milaron will not accept liability for damage caused by inadequate packaging or unapproved carriers.

  • Shipping insurance is strongly recommended.

  • Warranty covers parts only; labour, installation, and on-site service costs are the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Replacement parts may be new or refurbished but will be functionally equivalent to the original.

9. Geographic Limitation

Warranty service is available only within Australia. Moving the Product outside the Service Area voids this warranty.

10. Australian Consumer Law

This warranty is provided in addition to any rights and remedies available under the ACL. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
